BKK Airport to BITEC Bang Na: Exhibition Transfer Guide (2026)

BKK Airport to BITEC Bang Na: Exhibition Transfer Guide (2026)

BITEC in One Paragraph

Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre, BITEC, sits at Bang Na on the eastern edge of the city beside the expressway, hosting gems and jewelry fairs, food and hospitality expos, industrial trade shows and large public events year round. For exhibitors and trade visitors it has one enormous advantage over every other venue in Thailand: it is a short hop from Suvarnabhumi airport, roughly 20 to 30 minutes down the expressway when traffic behaves.

Why the Short Hop Still Goes Wrong

A 25-minute drive still has to start. After an international arrival you clear immigration, wait for bags, walk to the public taxi rank, and join whatever queue has formed when three wide-body loads land together. Exhibition mornings make this worse, because everyone in that rank is heading to the same halls you are. Add a roll-up banner, a catalog crate and a 9 am booth opening, and the cheapest hour you can buy back is the one between the arrival gate and the hall door.

Public Transport: Possible, but Roundabout

The honest budget route is the Airport Rail Link to Phaya Thai, then the BTS Sukhumvit line back east to Bang Na station, which sits beside BITEC. It costs very little and it takes the scenic tour of Bangkok in the process, comfortably over an hour with a transfer and stairs at both ends. With a laptop bag it is survivable. With exhibitor freight it is not a plan.

The Flat Rate Transfer

A private transfer from Suvarnabhumi to the Bang Na corridor falls inside our standard airport transfer band of 800 to 1,200 baht depending on the exact address, quoted fixed and all-in before you book: expressway tolls included, no VAT added, no meter and no conversation about price at the curb. The driver meets you inside arrivals with a name sign, helps with bags, and takes the expressway directly to the hall entrance you actually need, because the BITEC campus has several and the public rank drops at whichever one it likes.

Exhibitors: Match the Car to the Freight

If you are manning a booth rather than visiting, say so when you book. A roll-up and a cabin bag fit a sedan. A popup stand, catalog crates or display stock want the van. Telling us the load in advance is the difference between one clean trip and an awkward second one, folded into a stranger's hatchback with the seats down.

Business Accounts: 10 Percent Off

Companies booking transfers for teams, clients or visiting management get a standing 10 percent discount on business bookings, with clean invoices issued for expense reports. For multi-day exhibitions we can hold the same driver across the whole run: airport to hotel, hotel to hall each morning, hall to airport at the end, on one schedule agreed in advance.

The Load-Out Rush

When the halls close at 6 pm on the final day, everyone with an evening flight pours out at once and the rank queue stops being funny. Pre-book the pickup instead: the driver waits at the agreed point outside your hall, you pack the stand in daylight, and the fare to the airport is already settled. Evening flights out of Suvarnabhumi stop being tight.

If You Have the Night Before

Flying in a day early and sleeping near the venue beats a dawn dash: hotels cluster around Bang Na and Udomsuk within minutes of the halls. If you would rather sleep riverside and ride out in the morning, that works too, quoted on the same flat basis from your hotel. Either way, lock the morning slot in when you book the hotel. Show mornings fill first.
